A huge stream of Edinburgh partygoers were caught on camera this week as they braved the bleak weather conditions for a night out.
The long line in the Cowgate was captured on social media on Tuesday night, into the early hours of Wednesday morning, as crowds waited to get into the club.
Despite the strong winds and horizontal rain that was sweeping across Edinburgh at the time, over 100 people were seen in line to get into Cowgate venue, Subway.

Running their 'Tamagotchi Tuesday' event, the crowd stretched for some distance along the Cowgate, tailing back towards the Grassmarket.

With pictures of the dance floor looking packed inside, partygoers seemed willing to wait to get inside, with the line huddling together for some time.
Video taken from the popular stretch of late-night venues also showed many braving the cold without a jacket, in the hope of getting inside quickly.
It's not the first time large club queues have been spotted in Edinburgh, with clips taken earlier in the year showing lines stretching around George Street for popular venue, Why Not.
