An Edinburgh musician has been left in "disbelief" after legendary rock band Oasis shared a video of him singing along to one of their hit records.
Calum Bowie, who is currently living in Edinburgh but was born in Banchory, caught the attention of the band after taking on one of the bands most iconic songs earlier this year. The singer shared his spur of the moment version of Oasis's 'Wonderwall' on his TikTok account which has received over 9.2million views.
Aberdeen Live spoke to Calum, who said he was 'bouncing off the walls.' The 36 second clip shows the artist dangling from his window whilst playing his guitar.

Singing for the world to hear, the musician soon had an audience as one person shouted to ask him, "know any Oasis?" and later said "Play Wonderwall", to which Calum replied, "Wonderwall" and started singing.
He captioned his TikTok video by saying, "these boys have been making singing out the window that bit more fun."
Now, the singer has been left in "disbelief" as Oasis shared his clip on their Twitter account last Friday. Posting the video, they said, "anyway here's Wonderwall." Calum replied, "in disbelief, thank you so much."
Speaking to Aberdeen Live, Calum said: "I was in disbelief.
"I had gone into my mentions and saw someone had mentioned the video in their story and it took me a second to clock who’d actually re-posted it.
"It doesn’t get any better than Oasis for me so I was absolutely bouncing off the walls. The roofers in the video had just started working at the top of my street and I didn’t see them until they shouted over. They’ve been super kind and really supportive."
Having over 400,000 followers on TikTok since creating his account in 2021, the singer-songwriter seems to be taking the Scottish music scene by storm. Building a consistent and loyal fan base, he has over 25,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
He has also enjoyed airplay on Amazing Radio, Original 106FM, BBC Introducing Scotland as well as being championed by Janice Forsyth on BBC Radio Scotland’s Afternoon Show.
