Edinburgh's new Meadowbank stadium is set to open this summer, with images giving a first glimpse inside the building.
Under construction for years, the city has been eagerly awaiting the launch of the huge new state-of-the-art sports complex after the old site was demolished.
Earlier this month, Edinburgh Leisure had confirmed the site was 'on track' to open at the start of the capital's school holidays, with the brand new facilities ready to go.

Although still a little while off the grand opening, construction inside Meadowbank looks to be nearing completion, with the gym, indoor sports hall and changing facilities appearing ready.
Decorated with an orange and white theme to resemble Edinburgh Leisure's colours, the flooring in the main entrance mirrors that of a running track.
The huge gym was also seen fully stocked with brand new exercise equipment, with huge changing facilities stretching along the corridors.

Set over a series of floors, signage has shown the site will include studios, squash courts, a boxing studio, a dojo and different sports halls that can cater for a number of activities.
One hall was pictured looking ready to go, with the huge space including an upstairs gallery for spectators and a further folding out audience area.
The original Meadowbank was built for the 1970 Commonwealth Games and was used by various clubs and sporting celebrities. The closure of the flagship venue on 3 December 2017 marked the end of an era and the start of a new one as the building was decommissioned to make way for a new state-of-the-art sports centre for people in Edinburgh and beyond to enjoy for decades to come.
The new Meadowbank was originally scheduled to reopen in 2020, but due to the pandemic and lockdown restrictions issues with building supplies and contractor resourcing, which affected the building industry, meant that delays were inevitable.
An official opening date for the centre is yet to be announced.
