An Edinburgh mum has hit out at McDonald's after ordering a family meal as a treat for her diabetic daughter who has been struggling to eat and feeling down.

The mum told how her seven-year-old daughter lost her appetite recently due to feeling unwell and decided to surprise her with a rare McDonald's for a treat on Tuesday October 11 from the Cameron Toll restaurant.
