Edinburgh man missing for hours as police launch urgent appeal to trace him

An Edinburgh man has been reported missing after not being seen or heard from in hours.

Police in the capital have issued growing concerns for the welfare of Michael Meehan after he was last seen on Friday afternoon (July 29.)

The 41-year-old was last seen in the Morningside area of Edinburgh, around 5.25pm on Friday, 29July, 2022.

He is described as being around 6ft in height, of medium build, with grey hair and speaks with an Irish accent.

When last seen he was wearing a blue Under Armour t-shirt, blue jeans and dark coloured trainers.

Anyone who has seen Michael or who has any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 4387 of 29 July, 2022.
