Edinburgh man dies after tragic fall from George IV Bridge as family informed

Edinburgh George IV Bridge Cowgate

A man has died following a fall from the George IV Bridge in Edinburgh on Thursday.

Emergency services raced to the scene on March 17, with police closing a large area around the Cowgate shortly after 10am.

Reported to have fallen from a great height, it has now been confirmed a 48-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
