Edinburgh drivers have been warned that a section of the M8 will be closed this month for resurfacing works.
BEAR Scotland have announced that 0.5 kilometres of road at junction 4A will be worked on overnight for a few days, with motorists unable to use it during this time.
Focussing on the eastbound slip road, the works will take place on the nights of Monday 6 and Wednesday 8 June.
For the safety of workers and road users, the Junction 4A eastbound off-slip will be closed between 8.30pm and 6am on these nights.

Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “These surfacing improvements will improve ride quality and safety for motorists using this slip road.
“An overnight road closure is essential for safety, however we will do all we can to complete the works as quickly as possible and thank motorists in advance for their patience."
Consultation has been carried out with emergency services and relevant stakeholders to share information about the project in advance.
