The trailer for new British blockbuster The Lost King has been released featuring multiple well-known Edinburgh beauty spots.
Filming began back in April for the movie, with cast and crew members spotted around the capital in areas including Roxburgh Street in the Old Town and Bruntsfield Links.
The film, starring Steve Coogan, Harry Lloyd and Sally Hawkins, is based on an "amateur historian who defies the stodgy academic establishment in her efforts to find King Richard III's remains, which were lost for over 500 years."

The true story will be based on the 2012 finding, after the king's final resting place was found to be somewhere a little less glamorous than you would expect. Historians report that the last of the Plantagenet rulers died in battle in 1485, and was later buried in Leicester chapel after his excavation was completed.
The two and a half minute trailer, which gives a glimpse of scenes filmed in Edinburgh, has also been viewed over one million times on YouTube since its release two weeks ago.
The movie is due to hit cinemas in October 7, and the description reads: "In 2012, having been lost for over 500 years, the remains of King Richard III were discovered beneath a carpark in Leicester. The search had been orchestrated by an amateur historian, Philippa Langley, whose unrelenting research had been met with incomprehension by her friends and family and with scepticism by experts and academics.
"The Lost Kingis the life-affirming true story of a woman who refused to be ignored and who took on the country's most eminent historians, forcing them to think again about one of the most controversial kings in England's history."
Although the description doesn't focus on Edinburgh specifically, Sally Hawkins, who plays Philippa Langley, is an city resident who strikes a fascination with finding King Richard III's remains and becomes enthralled in an epic journey to do so.
Documenting her life with her husband (Steve Coogan) and two young kids, the family are based in the capital and several well-known tourist attractions are captured in the trailer.
Although they are just snapshots, areas such as Princes Street, the Forth Rail Bridge in South Queensferry, Victoria Street and George IV Bridge are all seen.
Earlier this year Edinburgh Live reported that Coogan's production company, Baby Cow, had applied for permission with the council to recreate the burial site at National Mining Museum’s Lady Victoria Colliery, Newtongrange, representing the location in Leicester where Richard's remains were eventually found.
