The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Edinburgh as heavy downpours are expected to hose down the capital.
The warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms has been issued between 8am and 11.59pm on Saturday, July 8. Between that period the Met Office warns that homes and businesses could be flooded.
There may also be delays to rail services and public transport as well as increased risk to those travelling on the roads. Spray and sudden flooding could also lead to difficult driving conditions.

Despite heavy showers over the weekend, the capital is set to bask in the odd period of sunshine with temperatures of 25C looking likely on Saturday and 22C on Sunday.
The yellow warning has also been issued for Midlothian, West Lothian and East Lothian as it remains to be seen whether it will continue into Sunday.
Saturday morning is likely to bring the driest spell of the day before showers sweep in from the south around midday. The Met Office forecast predicts: "Sunny and mostly dry around dawn. Heavy thundery showers soon spread north. The east coast likely to be sunny through much of the morning. Maximum temperature 25 °C.
Looking ahead to Sunday and the start of next week, they add: "Another warm day Sunday with scattered showers, most frequent and heaviest in the west. A little cooler Monday and Tuesday with more widespread slow moving heavy showers."
