Edinburgh Hibs star Ryan Porteous hurled tumbler that hit woman on the head

Hibs star Ryan Porteous has been ordered to pay a woman compensation after he admitted throwing a tumbler that struck her on the head outside a Scots club.

Porteous, 23, threw the plastic glass into the air as he stood with a group of friends outside a miners’ club in Dalkeith, Midlothian, earlier this year.

The tumbler then struck Siobhan Brett on the head as she stood nearby chatting with friends and resulted in her Edinburgh Sheriff Court to her head.
