Lifelong Hearts fans Gerry and Mark Campbell were snapped proudly wearing the national team's shirts in Doha's Red Lion pub. Dubai-based accountant Mark, 33, and retired engineer Gerry, of Glasgow, are even planning to go to Friday's England v US game - despite taking some flak from England fans.

"We applied for a few tickets, took pot luck and got the England game against the US," added Mark. "It will be wild at 10pm on a Friday night for the kick off.
