Summer Harl has shared a sweet snap of her son Ace with his dad Craig Gordon, after the Hearts keeper returned home from hospital following surgery on his broken leg.
On Christmas Eve, the Jambos skipper suffered a broken leg during a collision with Dundee United's Steven Fletcher, meaning he had to have surgery on Christmas Day, one week before he celebrated his 40th birthday report the Record.

Doting partner Summer has now said the best present she got this year was her man home from hospital. She shared a snap of two-year-old Ace sitting on his dad's lap, with the footie star's leg in a surgical boot.
Summer wrote: "It’s not what’s under the tree that matters, it’s who’s gathered around it. Our best gift was getting you home. We’ve been overwhelmed with the love and support for Craig and our family. CG, if anyone can come back from this, it’s you. With you every hobble/step/stride/kick of the way. x."
And many fans took to the comments to send the family well-wishes. One wrote: "So sorry to hear babe! sending all the best well wishes to Craig for a speedy recovery and love to you all as a family!"
Another added: "Wishing you a speedy recovery skipper! You've got this! Glad to see you home with your family and hope you managed to have a lovely albeit belated Christmas and wishing you a very happy birthday tomorrow."
While one said: " Sending love to you both. What a horrid shock. He has so much positivity and love being sent from all of us fans." Another penned: "Best wishes for a full and fast recovery. Those little ones will keep his spirits up I’m sure."

Craig also took to Instagram to talk about the set back. Yesterday, he wrote: "I’ve played this game long enough to know that I can’t take anything for granted, and when I’ve been ‘written off’ with injuries before, every game is one more than at times, I thought I might get.
"I know what lies ahead as I’ve walked this road before and I’ll do it again, albeit on crutches for now. Our medical team did a great job on the pitch.
"The staff and surgeons at Ninewells Hospital who performed my surgery on Christmas Day, and all those who looked after me were brilliant.
"The club, my teammates and everyone who has sent messages for my family and I, you have all helped in giving me the best start to my recovery and I’m truly grateful. 40 tomorrow, I’ve not done too bad considering! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I’ll see you soon, CG."
