Edinburgh Hearts fans have shared their plans for a heartfelt tribute to local youngster Rudi Abbott, after the eight-year-old tragically passed away last week.
Known to be a huge fan of the club, Rudi had been diagnosed with a rare brain tumour, a pineoblastoma, in 2020, and had undergone three years of treatment.
However, in a heartbreaking update on January 6, his family announced that the youngster had passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Described as a "wee warrior", tributes flooded in for Rudi from the local community, with many having supported the 'Rally for Rudi' campaign, which saw over £110,000 raised to fund his US treatment.
Having been a Hearts-daft fan for his entire life, local supporters announced they would be planning a tribute to Rudi at the clubs game with St Mirren on Friday, January 13.
Set to honour the eight-year-old, a minute's applause has been organised for the eighth minute of the game, which will be played at Tynecastle.
Responding to the plans, Rudi's family said on social media that the tribute was a "great idea", and that "Rudi will be well chuffed."
The game will kick off at 7.45pm on Friday, January 13.
Speaking online, Rudi's family also confirmed that a small private funeral will be taking place next week, and urged anyone who wishes to to make a donation to The Brain Tumour Charity here.
