As the city prepares for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to begin, final roadworks are taking place before tourists flock to the capital.
Fortunately, The City of Edinburgh Council shares a weekly bulletin of any updates to existing roadworks in the capital as well as new works and temporary traffic light installations.

Here are all the new road works and temporary traffic lights that drivers need to be aware of from today (Tuesday 26 May) as shared by Edinburgh Travel News on Twitter - the City of Edinburgh Council's weekday travel news service.
WEST END JUNCTION - Siemens for Edinburgh Trams - track maintenance - all routes closed except left turn into southbound Lothian Road - 11.30pm - 5am for 2 nights - 26/07/22 to 28/07/22
GEORGE STREET - Between Hanover Street and Frederick Street Festival events - road closed except for cyclists - loading permitted 6.30am - 9.30am daily - 29/07/22 to 29/08/22

KING'S STABLES ROAD - Preparations for Summer Sessions concerts in Princes Street Gardens - Road closed 8am - 8pm each day (except for cyclists and event vehicles) - 29/07/22 to 02/08/22
