Edinburgh's Forth Road Bridge is currently closed due to an emergency incident.
Emergency services, including police and paramedics, rushed to the crossing, which is still used by public transport, around 3.35pm, with Traffic Scotland also confirming the bridge is closed in both directions.
They tweeted: "NEW: 16:14 A9000 Forth Road Bridge CLOSED in both directions due to a police incident. Emergency services in attendance." Several buses which use to bridge between South Queensferry and North Queensferry have also been diverted.

Stagecoach East Scotland tweeted: "Due to an incident on the Forth Road Bridge service being diverted. The 16:30 X54 from Edinburgh will not operate . due to being held up . Apologies."
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed officers received a concern for a person call around 3.35pm and they remain in attendance.
