Edinburgh firefighters have been seen battling a huge house blaze in the city on Tuesday as flames ripped through the home.
Emergency crews raced to the scene on Granton Mains Brae in the capital on Tuesday afternoon as the fire tore through the building. Edinburgh Live reports that the alarm was first raised shortly after 3pm on July 12, prompting an immediate response from fire crews.
Dramatic footage taken at the scene shows heavy smoke and flames escaping from doors and windows on both floors of the dwelling. Fortunately, the fire was contained to the house and did not spread to neighbouring properties.
