Firefighters in Edinburgh are currently at the scene of a blaze within the top floor of a tenement building.
Four crews, including three pump appliances and a high reach appliance were mobilised from both Tollcross and Sighthill to extinguish the fire at a block of flats on Ashley Terrace, in the Polwarth area.
The road remains closed to traffic as Lothian Buses have issued a service alert for those using the number 38. It reads: "Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Shandon Place, Ashley Terrace and Gray's Loan and are instead diverted via Slateford Road, Craiglockhart Avenue and Colinton Road in both directions until further notice."

The alarm was raised just before 6:30pm on Tuesday night, October 18, and one eye witness captured images from the scene with a high reach appliance being used to extinguish the fire on the top floor of the tenement.
The blaze appears to have occurred just above a solicitors in the area, with the stone surrounding the windows black from the smoke.
Multiple police vehicles were also drafted in to cordon off the area and ensure the safety of the public.
It is currently unknown what started the blaze or if there are any injuries as a result.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted to a fire on Ashley Terrace in Edinburgh around 18:27 and appliances from both Tollcross and Sighthill are mobilised to the scene.
"There were three water pump appliances and one high reach appliance present."
