Edinburgh drivers have been issued a warning following a collision on the City Bypass.
Traffic Scotland warned motorist to 'approach with care' on Friday at 4.50pm as the incident is blocking lane two that heads Eastbound at Lothian Burn Junction.
It is reported that neighbouring roads are also experiencing congestion and it's busier than normal at Fairmilehead crossroads .

Traffic is tailed back to Hermiston Gait now with drive time of 30-40 minutes. Due to this, there is congestion on alternative routes including Calder Road, Longstone Road, Redford Road, Oxgangs Road, Frogston Road East.
In a tweet by Traffic Scotland, it stated: "There is a collision on the Edinburgh City Bypass in the live lane, restricting traffic heading Eastbound at Lothian Burn Junction. Congestion is to just after Baberton Junction."
They added: "The collision on the Edinburgh City Bypass is blocking lane 2 heading Eastbound at Lothian Burn Junction. Please approach with care."
At 6.10pm, Traffic Scotland announced that the collision on the A720 at Lothian Burn Junction has been cleared and traffic is moving well.
This comes as a yellow weather warning for ice has been put in place for Edinburgh across Saturday and Sunday. Drivers have been warned to take care on the roads.
