Locals told how the driver was attempting to park in a disabled space and shot forward before smashing through a wall at the front of Cameron Toll with enough force to crash through it.
One local who witnessed the collision filmed it before sharing it to the social media site TikTok in a clip which has been viewed over 1000 times.
The car appears to have lurched over a pavement before smashing through a small brick wall in the car park close to one of the main entrances. The impact scattered debris and bricks across the car park.
The wall was left in pieces and the car appears to have sustained damage too. The vehicle eventually came to a rest teetering over a drop onto a walkway.
Footage shows the aftermath of the car veering into the wall at the entrance to Cameron Toll with a number of security staff members in high vis jackets rushing to the scene.
The cause of the incident and any details of injuries are unknown.
Police Scotland and Cameron Toll shopping centre have been approached for comment.
