An Edinburgh driver was called out by a furious neighbour after leaving a note on their car window.
The large cardboard message was spotted on the windscreen on Friday morning (July 29) after the individual had parked over a lane on Spey Terrace in Leith.
Although not blocking the entire road, the grey Volkswagen had been left with the bonnet sticking out over the entranceway, with one neighbour clearly having had enough.

Already a tight spot for car-parking spaces, the lane itself also only has room for one lane of traffic due to parked cars, making it a difficult space to manoeuvre out of.
Making their feelings clear in bold letters, the note read: 'Pls move your car. It's blocking the lane."

With the responsible driver appearing to have not yet discovered the note, another local resident claimed that the street has become a hotspot for double-parking.
They added: "To be fair, people park where they want down this street. You see cars double-parked all the time. I think it might be the last street before the city centre without permit parking so it's basically a commuter car park.
"You get tourists parking here as well for their Airbnbs. Clearly someone has had enough and slapped a note on."
