Police were confronted by a bloodbath after breaking into a flat and finding two men dead inside, it has been claimed.
The bodies of the pair, who have not been officially named, were lying in a first-floor property in the Greendykes Hous e tower block in Niddrie, Edinburgh.
A witness told how a police officer emerged from the flat after the grim find and vomited on the floor.
