Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, situated on Seafield Road, are hiring kennel assistants to join their dedicated team of over 50 staff - and it sounds like an animal-lovers dream job.
Kennel Assistants will provide 'exemplary' daily care for the dogs and cats in the home's care and educate potential new owners on the needs of their future pet.

EDCH asks that applicants are "an excellent communicator with the ability to show empathy to both people and animals. A strong team player, you’ll have lots of energy teamed with a positive upbeat attitude."
You'll need to not only experienced in working with or handling animals, but also knowledgeable in basic behaviour and health issues as you'll be spending A LOT of time with the home's residents.
The successful candidate will work 40 hour weeks with a starting salary of £20,592.
