An Edinburgh cyclist was rushed to hospital after crashing in the city centre.
The incident occurred at around 4:40pm on Dundee Street, Fountain Park on Wednesday, with police and ambulance crews rushing to the scene. The cyclist, a man was rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
His age, the nature of his injuries and current medical condition were not disclosed. It's believed nobody else was injured as a result of the collision.

Multiple buses were diverted including the 34 and 35 services while the man was treated at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving a cyclist on Dundee Street, Edinburgh, around 4.40pm on Wednesday, September 14. Emergency services attended and the male cyclist was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.”
Elsewhere in the city centre, The Meadows was partially blocked a shorty while later after a car was pictured mounting the pavement in a suspected collision.
Police and the Scottish Fire and Rescue rushed to the busy park area after a black Ford was seen on the pavement and emergency services present on the road.
