An Edinburgh cyclist has shared the moment he escaped a dangerous collision after a careless driver pulled out onto a busy roundabout without giving way.
The incident was captured on camera and shared on social media, as the cyclist sarcastically branded the driver at fault "Edinburgh's most aware driver".
In the video posted on Twitter, the cyclist, publishing under the name Edinburgh's Finest, can be seen making his way along Marionville Road on Friday, January 20 just days after another near miss on Clerk Street.
The incident took place at the roundabout outside of Meadowbank Shopping Centre and shows the reckless driver pulling out onto the road despite the cyclist being right in front of his vehicle.
Speeding through the roundabout outside the busy shopping centre, the driver in the blue vehicle doesn't stop or even flinch after the near miss.
The video was taken at around 9.00 am on Friday morning when it was still dark outside it has been viewed over 1000 and shared to raise awareness of road safety.
The cyclist said: "Edinburgh's finest drivers demonstrate their skills once again! if only Police Scotland could do something about this!"

A fellow cyclist also added: "Sadly an everyday occurrence, riding any two-wheeled vehicle makes you immediately invisible to those who are hard of thought.
"No point asking the Police, they'd not lift a finger these days."
