Edinburgh council election 2022: What issues matters to you as voters head to the polls

It’s that time again when voters from across Edinburgh are due to take to the polls to have their say on who will run their council.

The election will take place in just over a week’s time, on Thursday May 5.

The issues facing Edinburgh voters of late include the introduction of a tourist tax and workplace parking levy.

There is also the matter of the extension of the trams network, which the SNP said it will push ahead with if re-elected.

The city faces a lot of issues, but what issues matter most to you?
