Huge tailbacks have been spotted on the approach to the Queensferry Crossing in Edinburgh following an earlier collision.
Commuters in the capital have been hit with up to 45 minutes added on to their journey home on Thursday evening due to heavy congestion on the M90 Queensferry Crossing.
According to Traffic Scotland, an earlier accident on the bridge during the afternoon is still having a heavy effect on traffic, with delays of around 45 minutes expected, as live traffic cameras have captured huge tailbacks stretching back to Kirkliston.

Traffic Scotland tweeted: "UPDATE: 17:45 M90 Queensferry Crossing. Long delays Northbound tonight following an earlier collision Approx. 45 minute delay above normal."
Northbound traffic appears to be the most affected by the delays, with traffic cameras showing huge tailbacks on the approach to the crossing, while traffic seems to be coping well on both southbound lanes.
