Edinburgh could be getting a new dog grooming parlour in the city centre, if plans are approved.
The plans would see a currently vacant shop building on Dundas street turned it into a brand new dog grooming parlour for the capital's pet lovers.
While the plans have not yet been approved by the council, should they go ahead then the small, discreet shop front on Dundas Street will be converted into the independent business.

The proposed business will be conveniently located in the city centre, neighbouring Bacca wines and close to the soon-to-open Artisan Pasta Makers.
The shop itself is peculiar, with a small floor space of just 64 square metres. That floor space is also very narrow and long, which could make it difficult for many business owners to fully employ the offered space.
Previously, the shop was “The Long Gallery”, but it has had a storied history, serving as a gallery, vape shop and even a pop-up sportswear outlet.
In their application, the independent entrepreneur said: “The use would seem a good fit in this area of varied use and smaller retail outlets where people might reasonably expect to find such a place.”
Should it go ahead, neighbours will be notified with a leafleting campaign in the local area. While the last date for public comments has been and gone, the application has not yet been approved and the final determination deadline is on August 9.
