Edinburgh Council has lost £8 million in parking charges over the pandemic, it has emerged.

Fewer cars on the streets of the capital since the first lockdown was imposed in March 2020 has led to a significant reduction in income from parking tickets, permits, impound costs and bus lane penalties.
