A popular Edinburgh vegan café that was set up during the pandemic is now up for sale, just a year and a half after opening.
Glow, on Gilmore Place, was opened by a young business owner in February 2021 after the previous proprietors made the difficult decision to close due to the uncertainty throughout the pandemic.
However, a year and a half later, the attractive little café in the city centre, has been listed once again on RightBiz and is seeking a new owner to take over the lease.

The café is described as "an excellent opportunity for a first business purchaser. The owner set up the café over lockdown and the business has grown considerably and is now an established local favourite in this thriving part of the city.
"The café is geared to the breakfast and brunch market with a full vegetarian/vegan offering of mouth-watering Cakes, sandwiches, smashed avocado on sourdough etc washed down with craft coffee from a speciality roaster. All available to sit in or takeaway.
"The café has a relaxed seating area for 16 and a very generous kitchen which we are advised has hot food consent. This would be ideal for someone looking to grow a home-based bakery business. The sale of Glow Café offers any potential purchaser to significantly increase turnover and profits. The business is well located, with a good mix of residential, shops ,offices , large secondary school and a busy nursery on the door step."
The business is situated just a few minutes from Fountain Park which includes various restaurants, entertainment venues and a huge student population, as well as being close to Boroughmuir High School.
The site was formerly a Dough Re Mi bakery and Cath's Takeaway.
