Edinburgh city centre to see swish new coffee shop and cocktail speakeasy

Edinburgh is set to see a brand new 'cocktail speakeasy' open in the city centre next month, that will also be serving up some impressive coffees.

Native aparthotels have announced that their newly renovated site in the capital will include a 'hidden bar' open to locals and guests.

Launching at the end of June, the plush new bar will be offering food and drinks from 11am until 11pm, and will also feature local music acts and writers.

Claiming the venue will soon be the "capital’s best-kept secret", there will be brand new cocktails on the menu, as well as coffees and bagels during the day.

Launching once the hotel's refurbishment is fully complete, teasers of what the bar will look like have included an art deco theme with dark green, gold and white colours throughout.
