Edinburgh city bypass crash sees huge tailbacks as one lane closed to traffic

Edinburgh Edinburgh City Bypass Traffic Scotland Straiton

A road traffic collision on a busy Edinburgh bypass has grounded traffic to a standstill.

The incident took place around 8:30am this morning, March 1, on the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass westbound after the Straiton junction.

Traffic Scotland confirmed the incident on Twitter, saying that one lane is currently closed on the busy road, with huge delays expected.
