We're now into November and that only means one thing - yes Christmas is around the corner.
And with this in mind, many people will now be thinking about not just Christmas shopping but the festive markets too. From the food stalls to the cute bits and bobs you can buy for your tree, there's a lot to look forward too.
But after multiple concerns that the Edinburgh Christmas Markets would not go ahead, it has been confirmed that they will be with the highly-anticipated market set to return on November 25. People can expect the classic attractions in the city centre, including Santa Land, Forth 1 Big Wheel, and Lidl's Ice Rink on George Street. But what are the opening times? Here's everything you need to know.

Edinburgh Christmas Markets opening date and times 2022
Edinburgh Christmas Market will run from November 25 until January 3.
The markets will open from 10am - 10pm with some exceptions on the dates below.
- November 25: 2pm-10pm
- December 24: 10am-8pm
- December 25: Closed
- December 26: 12pm-8pm
- December 31: 10am-6pm
- January 1: 12pm-8pm
- January 4: 10am-8pm
