A family-friendly summer market will take place in Edinburgh this weekend, showcasing locally curated handmade products, baking, home wear and jewellery.
The team at Support the Makers are promoting their summer event at Bellfield Street this Sunday, May 1, from 11am-4pm.
As well as offering a selection of goods for adults to purchase, children will also be entertained with the addition of a creative workshop, where kids can create origami table top spinners or pom pom headbands & fairy wands.

Support the Makers are a locally owned business that help promote similar markets around the city, with Autumn and Christmas events also taking place this year.
As well as the aforementioned, guests at the market will also be met with a selection of art, accessories and textiles, with tickets available to purchase from the Support the Makers website.
As for the location, the market will take shape on the quiet street in Portobello, just down the road from the Portobello Swim Centre.
On their website, the market is described as: "May Day Creative Workshop for Kids, Sunday 1st May at Bellfield – We are thrilled to launch our Creative Kids Workshops with two super Creative Makers Eilidh & Makiko for a fun filled morning of May Day Fun with Pom Pom Headbands, Magical Wands & Table Top Origami Spinners."
Support the Makers will also be heading along to St James Quarter in May to showcase a selection of products from makers all over the UK.
Whether it's a taste of some home-baking that tickles your fancy, or some new ornaments to decorate your home, there will certainly be something for everyone at the market this weekend.
