The Edinburgh Canal Festival is set to return this month after a three year absence.
The raft race will also return to Scotland's Union Canal in the capital on Saturday, June 18, from 12pm-4:30pm.
The event, organised by the Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust, has taken on a new style format this year, moving from a Gala Day feel in the Lochrin Basin to that of a community doors open day.

Locals are being invited to the Union Canal which starts at Fountainbridge and ends in Falkirk, crossing through Edinburgh city centre and providing people with a beautiful waterside path to run, walk or cycle along.
Along the stretch of water between Edinburgh Quay and Harrison Park, there will be seven festival areas with activities and stalls, stemming a distance of 1.2 miles.
Over 30 local organisations are taking part by opening up their venues or setting up stalls near the canal to offer activities, tours and demonstrations, with something for all age groups to get involved in.
The Raft Race across the water is still open for entries - with people coming up with ingenious and hilarious designs throughout the year - as well as prizes for first place, most entertaining raft and most creative.
Rachel Sedman, Development Manager of FCCT said: "There are so many great organisations and activities that happen on or next to the Union Canal, the Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust sees the Festival as being an ideal time to showcase all that is on offer.
"We want people to come and discover the things that we think are great about the Canal, whether that’s on or off water activities or simply the mental and physical health benefits of walking along this green-blue corridor in the heart of our city."
The popular festival has been running for ten years, but as most outdoor festivals, Covid has made it near enough impossible to run in full swing. In most recent years, the event has been co-ordinated by Re-Union Canal Boats.
In 2022, the festival areas has been extended to Fountainbridge Green (in front of Boroghmuir High School) and Harrison Park East and West.
