BT Murrayfield have confirmed that all tickets for the shows on Friday and Saturday are required to be printed at home before attending. They said: "You MUST print your ticket before coming to the venue, otherwise you will not gain entry."

Other information was included in this warning email sent to all ticket holders attending the event. Listed below are some of the restrictions on hand this weekend at BT Murrayfield.

Are there any age restrictions?

Yes, in short. There are no under 14s permitted at this event in the standing area. People aged between 14 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over at all times.

In the seating areas, there are no under fives allowed. Those aged between five and 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over at all times.

There are designated wheelchair viewing areas and accessible facilities at BT Murrayfield, but you must have purchased wheelchair tickets in order to gain access to this area.

What time do doors open and can I queue early?

The stadium will open at 5pm to all ticket holders. BT Murrayfield is situated in an industrial and residential area that isn’t suitable for anyone camping or queuing too far in advance of the gates opening.

Therefore, the venue has recommended that anyone attending the show does not come down to the stadium until 12pm at the very earliest on the day of the show.

Will there be any special effects in use during the show?

Flickering light effects, strobing and other effects including confetti, smoke and haze may be used throughout the show.

What security procedures will be in place at the concerts?

There will be the followingsecurity procedures in place:

  • 100 per cent bag searches of permitted bags
  • Pat-down searches using security wands
  • Prohibited items will be confiscated

No bags larger than A4 - 30cm x 21cm - unless for Medical or Childcare.

Any larger bags will be directed to designated search lanes where they will be searched and tagged before entry.

Large bags which are clearly not for medical/childcare reasons will be rejected and patrons directed to find a safe place for storage (cars/bag drop facilities in the city etc). All bags no matter the size, are to be searched prior to entry.

It is important to note that BT Murrayfield does not have bag drop facilities so patrons with larger bags require to take them away and deposit them in a safe place before entering the stadium.

Any person whose conduct is deemed to be offensive or abusive, or who may compromise public safety, will be reported to the police.
