Furious fans of rock legend Bruce Springsteen have slammed Ticketmaster after highly sought tickets for his forthcoming Murrayfield gig skyrocketed to nearly three times the original price.
The Record reports that the dramatic increase is down to Ticketmaster and LiveNation's new 'dynamic pricing' model which allows ticket prices to fluctuate due to high demand. "The Boss" is set to play the capital next May for the first time since 1981 with the E Street Band in an eagerly anticipated performance.
Front standing tickets for the show at BT Murrayfield were originally priced at £155 but have now shot up in value, putting them beyond the reach of many fans. The consequent shocking price surge has now taken the same tickets to over £400.
