When police arrived to rescue her, Park left a constable squashed by the front door after he fought to block their entry.
Park appeared at the city’s sheriff court on Thursday and pled guilty to assault and abducting the woman on September 30 last year by locking her in the property and refusing to let her leave.
He also admitted resisting, obstructing or hindering four officers and struggling violently with them.
Fiscal depute Anna Chisholm told how Park and the woman were in a relationship which was described as a “generally good and happy one”.
Ms Chisholm said the victim arrived home at 7.30am after a night shift and found she was locked out her house.
The court heard when Park finally opened the door an argument started between the couple with the woman “annoyed” that her boyfriend had “not gone to work and had instead been out consuming alcohol and drugs”.
Ms Chisholm said the woman went to another room but could see Park was “getting angry” and he “accused her of not loving him”, reports the Record.

Later she managed to run outside the home but Park pursued her, the court was told, and dragged her back inside while she screamed for help.
The prosecutor said Park locked the door and hid the key before stopping the woman making another escape through a window.
Ms Chisholm said the victim began kicking Park and managed to get outside for a second time before he “dragged her” back in.
The woman had managed to raise the alarm and when cops arrived at 7.50am, Park tried to prevent their entry.
Pc Corrin Williamson was left “trapped” by the front door during the altercation, Ms Chisholm added, and it was 8.15am before Park was arrested.
Defence agent Matthew Nicholson said the incident had “come out of the blue” for the couple who were otherwise happy in the relationship and had recently returned from holiday.
Mr Nicholson said his client had consumed cocaine and alcohol and was “very much under the influence”.
The solicitor said Park, a landscaping worker, had not consumed cocaine since that time and had sought counselling.
The court was told the couple hoped to be able to continue a relationship.
Sheriff Douglas Kerr said it had been a “terrifying ordeal” for the victim. He deferred sentence until next month for reports.
