Edinburgh Beyoncé fans pictured in huge queues outside Murrayfield ahead of sell-out gig

Huge queues have been pictured outside Edinburgh's Murrayfield stadium before gates opened for the latest leg of Beyoncé's Renaissance world tour.

The global superstar has attracted tens of thousands and packed-out the impressive stadium for her gig on Saturday night, with superfans camping outside all night to ensure they are in the best position possible for an up-close view.

Despite gates opening around 4.30, hundreds of fans gathered hours before to soak up the atmosphere. Images captured Snapchat show huge crowds gathering outside the ticket barriers just an hour ago, around 5.30pm.

The exact timing of Queen Bey's arrival on the impressive spectacle that is the specially designed stage is unknown, but is rumoured to be between 6.30pm and 7pm.

As shown on superfan's TikTok account, beyhivexrwt2023, gig-goers already started queuing up hours before the show starts with with some claiming their place as early as 6am. The TikTokker also claimed some people had set up camp the night before.

Fans waiting are reminded that Murrayfield is a residential area and have been told to be 'respectful' of the neighbours.

The arrival of Beyoncé had created a buzz in the air around Edinburgh, with fans queuing outside the entrance to the stadium just to witness the singer arrive with the rest of her team and back-up dancers.

Other images taken by excited fans as they take their seat show the impressive stage area and how quickly the standing area began to fill up ahead of the superstar's arrival.

This marks the start of three huge concerts that will be taking place at Murrayfield in the next few weeks. On May Friday 26 and Saturday 27 Harry Styles will be performing to around 60,000 fans and Bruce Springsteen will also be stepping onto the stage just days after on May 30.
