Over the last few months we have been keeping up-to-date with one Edinburgh barista who went viral on TikTok.
Uploading to the video app, Sophie - also known as @yungoatmilk - recorded herself and a customer who she thought was 'cute', so much so she admitting wanting to "shoot my shot" and ask him out.
Taking her chances, she made a coffee for the man writing "ur cute" in a foam message on his coffee - and as it turns out, he had also been wanting to ask her out this whole time.

Eventually they decided to go out with each other and people were so invested they wanted daily updated on how they were doing. The original viral video has since racked up nearly 57.8 million views and seven million likes where it was later discovered that the man she had eye on had been taking photographs of every coffee she has made him and it wasn't long before they exchanged numbers.
However in an update, it turns out the man, called Marco, won't be a regular to the Grams café in Stockbridge ash he is moving to London. But fear not as they will be doing it long distance.

Another said: "Hope it works out for you guys."
"Distance makes the heart grow fonder" commented a third.
