While enjoying the birthday celebration he shared the extravagant bake he would whip up if he was in charge of creating the Queen's birthday cake.
He said: “I think I’ve read or heard somewhere that she’s a fan of lemon, so maybe a classic Victoria sponge keeping it royal.
“With maybe a lemon curd filling of cream, I think that sounds like it might be up her street.
“For a visual aspect I’d just tier up a couple of layers of cake, you know, make it grand!
“It’s a royal occasion if you’re baking for the Queen, so I’d make a three-tiered cake to make it really grand and royal.”
Peter was the youngest ever contestant and the first Scottish contestant to win the baking show in 2020.
He wowed judges with his baking abilities particularly with his gluten free options he opted to make to honour his brother’s intolerance.
Since then he has released his own baking book and appeared at many events around the capital where he continues his studies at Edinburgh University.
