Edinburgh’s Ninja Warrior Adventure Park has sent multiple first class athletes to TV’s toughest obstacle competition this year, and the program on Saturday will finally reveal which local ninjas - if any - have made the cut.
Shona McBean-Kyle, 23, has only been training Edinburgh’s Ninja course for a couple of months. She applied to this year’s Ninja Warrior UK as a joke, and did not expect to get in.
“When I saw the ad on Facebook for Ninja Warrior UK auditions, I applied as a joke. I didn’t think I would hear anything back, but they called me up and were keen to get me in for an audition,” Shona said.
