An Edinburgh ASDA store has apologised after a worker told a local mum to "cover up" while she was breastfeeding her baby.
Gemma Balmbra, 26, had hit out at the treatment she received while shopping with her two children in the Straiton superstore on Monday after being made to feel intimidated by a member of staff. Heading to the supermarket with her five-year-old son and six-week-old baby, Gemma told Edinburgh Live both of her children had become unsettled as she arrived at the checkout.
Shopping alone with her little ones, Gemma said she had been trying to help her children and unpack the shopping, when she received "rude" treatment from the female checkout worker.
