Nearly 100 pubs and bars across the nation have been voted as the best in their region in the National Pub & Bar Awards 2022.
The prestigious awards rank boozers across the whole of the UK in terms of region, with Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian's best pubs recently being announced.
The pubs, which have been selected on overall best practice across a number of operational categories, will be officially crowned at a red carpet celebration at 30 Euston Square on Wednesday 22 June.

At the grand final, 15 Regional Winners will also be announced, as well as the esteemed accolade – the overall National Pub & Bar of the Year, which was won by Galvin Green Man in Essex in 2021.
For Edinburgh, Malones was given the title of the best pub in the capital, as the popular Irish boozer at Haymarket are known for putting on a show, no matter what the occasion.
For Midlothian, the tranquil Paper Mill was named the bet in the region, with the pretty bar and restaurant located next to the River Esk in Lasswade, just outside of Bonnyrigg.
In East Lothian, Tom Kitchin's Bonnie Badger came up trumps, as the little restaurant and bar in the beautiful costal town of Gullane has impressed locals and tourists since it opened.
Lastly, Saltire, Livingston, took home West Lothian's best pub & bar award, operating as a more down-to-earth establishment, offering tasty British pub grub and live sport throughout the week.
