Two major high street banks have announced that they will be closing physical stores in the capital and East Lothian.
Bank of Scotland and the Royal Bank of Scotland have both announced that they will be closing branches this year.
The banks, along with TSB, HSBC, Barclays and Virgin, are expected to close around 80 branches across the UK in the near future.

According to Which?, financial institutions are closing en masse as they move their services online, potentially isolating vulnerable and elderly customers in the process.
The consumer champion adds that around 5,500 banks and building society physical stores have closed since 2015, the Mirror reports.
Around 13 of the 80 branch closures are expected to be in Scotland with the Bank of Scotland closing their 300 Lawnmarket Edinburgh branch on July 26 whilst RBS is set to close their 36 High Street Tranent branch on Jluy 27.
