Edinburgh Airport has shared a new hand luggage packing guide to ensure "security is as smooth as can be".
With only a few weeks left of the summer, people across Scotland will be rushing off to soak up some European sun. To ensure that your trip through the airport is as quick as possible, you should ensure you are thoroughly prepared.
Part of this is making sure you have packed everything you need for your trip, and removing anything from your bags that is not allowed on the plane.

"Our guide on how to pack as efficiently as possible so your journey through security is as smooth as can be."
Tips included in the video include: ensuring your bag is empty before packing, making sure liquids are under 100ml, and that tablets and laptops need to be removed at security.
The airport also suggested that liquids and electronics are in an easily accessible part of the bag to minimise time spent taking them out at security.
