Edinburgh Airport's airspace to close for arrival of Queen's coffin as flights cancelled

Edinburgh Airport have confirmed their airspace will close on Tuesday to allow for the departure of Her Majesty the Queen.

Officials at the airport told Edinburgh Live the airspace will shut temporarily on Tuesday afternoon for a short period of time, to allow the coffin to leave safely.

Arriving in Edinburgh on Sunday, the Queen will lie in rest at St Giles' from Monday to Tuesday afternoon, before being brought to the airport headed for London.
