On a dreich miserable day in the capital, Edinburgh Live took a tram to the airport to find out where everyone is jetting away to this Easter break.
This Easter break is the first school holidays where there have been no pre-testing and quarantine measures in place making it the top choice for many families to fly abroad.
Edinburgh Airport jets to over 100 different locations across Europe and the world.
With 15 million passengers passing through its doors every year, Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is the busiest in Scotland and among the busiest in the UK.

Beverley Finch and David Gray managed to get abroad for a few holidays throughout the pandemic and were also boarding the flight to Turkey today.

"We managed to go away a few times the last couple of years without too much hassle.
"It is easier not having to do the pre departure PCR."
