An Edinburgh Airport passenger has recorded footage of 'typical dad' behaviour while travelling through the terminal, in something most of us can relate to.
The comical tongue-in-cheek video shines a light on what a lot of dads go through on route to the airport and before the flight takes off, before finally settling down when the plane leaves the runway.
With various different stages including 'racing ahead of the rest of the family', 'not letting us handle our passports' and 'doing everyone's luggage tags because he's more capable', many of us have probably gone through exactly the same experience with our dads.

The user uploaded the video on TikTok, filming her dad at different stages throughout the airport process, starting from the moment he loaded her family's cases into the taxi as 'they wouldn't do a good job of it'.
They captioned the video, 'Scottish dads are built different' and added, 'airport James has been unlocked'.
As many of us will know, there's something about going on holiday that just increases parents' stress levels to the maximum. As it is such a highly anticipated event and so much time and money has been invested on securing a holiday in the sun, there can be absolutely no slip ups.
After the user films her dad putting the cases in the taxi before arriving at Edinburgh Airport, he then checks the online boarding passes multiple times to ensure everything is in working order.
After that, it's on to storming full steam ahead of everyone else through the terminal, even though in most cases, you're already hours ahead of the departure time.
The dad then sorts out everyone's luggage tags and prints the sticky labels to ensure they're all attached correctly. Queueing is another huge thing for dad's in general, they seem to hate any sort of hold up, which was the case for this user's dad as he anxiously swayed side to side while looking at the queue building ahead of them.
A 'triple check' of the passports took place before a momentary lapse in concentration while a well-earned pint was consumed in Wetherspoons, just before a lengthy delay halted all progress.
As the flight was finally boarding, the dad reportedly 'made mum ditch her wine' in case they were late, before finally jetting off and letting his guard down.
Now, how many of us have suffered through the exact same situation in years gone by?
