Edinburgh Airport opens swish new 'mixer' bar with small plates and breakfasts

Edinburgh Airport have announced they have opened a brand new 'mixer' bar for passengers to enjoy this summer.

This week, Fever Tree have launched their own sit-around bar in the departure lounge which will be serving up a variety of food and drinks.

Able to fit 51 people around its circular bar, the new venue will be offering a range of spirit serves accompanied with Fever Tree's iconic mixers.

To line the stomach, menus will also offer a selection of small plates and breakfasts, that will include everything from smoked salmon and chorizo to marinated olives.

However, for those not in the mood for a spirit and mixer, wine, beer and bubbles will also be available from the bar.

Speaking about the new airport venture, Fever-Tree’s co-founder and CEO Tim Warrillow said: “Over a decade on from when we pioneered premium mixers, we continue to lead the way in elevating drinking experiences – this time at an international travel hub that is Edinburgh Airport, with our first-ever airport bar and café.

"We are looking forward to sharing more drinks with travellers from around the world as we embark on our journey to premiumise airport drinking and dining globally.”

The Fever-Tree Bar and Café will be open daily at Edinburgh Airport from 4am-11pm.
