On March 19, 2022, Edgar Berlanga faced off against Steve Rolls in a super middleweight bout at the Hulu Theatre in Madison Garden, New York. Berlanga, known for his impressive record of knocking out his first 16 opponents in the first round, has been a topic of discussion in the boxing world. However, his recent fights have not ended in knockouts, leading to speculation about his form.
In his last fight against Jason Quigley, Berlanga failed to secure a stoppage victory despite knocking Quigley down multiple times. Berlanga attributed his performance to old injuries and inactivity but expressed confidence in his upcoming fight against Padraig McCrory.
